Educational Outreach
The simple act of gardening can be one of the most educational and enriching experiences for people of all ages.  We work with groups such as Cub Scouts, homeschool groups, public and private school classes, and more for an opportunity to get dirty and learn from nature.

After dusk planting project.
Contact us if you would like to arrange a cooperative planting project at Green Earth Community Garden.  Kids can be involved in starting seeds, transplanting, nurturing, harvesting, and eating the 'fruits of their labour".  We can assist with classroom lesson plans tailored to support and enrich the learning process.
Kids and food
Think kids won't eat veggies?  Let them get a hand in the growing process and see that change.
Curiosity
Its amazing to watch the young ones as their eyes light up and ears perk as they discover were their food really comes from.
